Code@Night: Epic Prefrosh Edition – April 12
Third Floor Sherrerd Hall, 9 pm – late

On Friday April 12, Epic will join ACM for a truly epic Code@Night. We’ll serve pizza and drinks and we’ll have snacks and fruit. People will be creating awesome applications, scraping the web, building PacMan AI, etc. Every man and machine will have a grand time. This Code@Night features Prefrosh, an Epic Talk, and Demo Hours.

Prefrosh: We hope to have more prefrosh at this Code@Night than ever before. Bring yours!
Epic Talk: Josh, a real life engineer from Epic, will be giving a talk on Mobile Development, starting at 10 pm. Abstract below.
Demo Hours: People will be demoing awesome things they’ve built! Demos commence at 11.

Epic Abstract:
Mobile applications have become an essential part of our daily lives, and healthcare is no exception. In this talk, Josh will discuss many aspects of mobile app development along with some of the core challenges that face today’s mobile developers both inside and outside of healthcare. He’ll also spend time covering some of the key differences in developing mobile apps for the two most predominant mobile platforms – iOS and Android.
